KTL surface

Cathodic dip painting (KTL) is an industrial surface treatment process in which parts are immersed in a special paint solution and then the paint is applied to the surface of the part using an electric current.

The main steps of the process are:

1. Preparation: the parts are cleaned of dirt, grease and other materials.

2. dip-painting: the prepared parts are immersed in the paint solution, in which an electric current is passed. In the cathodic method, the part acts as a cathode, so the paint is attracted to its surface and adheres.

3. Drying and curing: The painted parts are dried and cured to make the coating durable and resistant.

KTL painting benefits:

- Corrosion resistance: the process provides excellent corrosion protection for metal parts.

- Uniform coating: even on parts with complex shapes, it provides a uniform coating.

- Environmentally friendly: Low solvent technology reduces environmental pollution.

This technology is particularly popular in automotive and other industrial applications where a durable and reliable surface finish is required.
